Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:

Division:
Business Office.

The Opportunity:
This role requires stakeholder engagement at many levels within the Client and with external training providers. The role will be responsible for organising a number of procurement training interventions, with impact across several key functions of the business, a varied skill set is required.
The role requires a high level of interaction internally, as well as a continual flow of high level communication both internally and externally. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of training to support the purchase and supply chain of global production for specified projects and enabling the provision of training through the supply base.

Key Performance Indicators:
- Design, develop and deliver in-house training - Purchasing Induction and process training
- Assign KPI`s and learning outcomes for all training developed
- Assess current Purchasing Academy content and ensure training is relevant whilst identifying training suitable for delivery as E-learning packages that can be used globally.
- Monitor the knowledge transfer of participants to assess the impact of the training in day to day operations
- Project Management requiring you to ensure that the learning and training delivery can be completed with the required inputs from the business and external suppliers where necessary

3 Key Skills:
1) Strong buying expertise with previous experience in a purchasing or commercial environment coupled with training delivery.
- Ability to design, develop and deliver Procurement Training
- Ability to train individuals in key Procurement processes with a confident, engaging training delivery style

2) Strong project management, business acumen and analytical skills
- Strong leadership, influencing and relationship management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels of the organisation and with external suppliers/customers
- Experience in supplier relationship management

3) Ability to travel internationally and deliver training suitable for the global business needs.
- Ensuring that cultural differences are included in all training material.
- Global travel is required - to include, but not exclusively: UK, Austria, Brazil, China, India, Slovakia

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Strong buying expertise with previous experience in a purchasing or commercial environment.
- Ability to design, develop and deliver Procurement Training
- Ability to train individuals in key Procurement processes with a confident, engaging training delivery style
- Strong project management, business acumen and analytical skills
- Strong leadership, influencing and relationship management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels of the organisation and with external suppliers/customers
- Experience in supplier relationship management
Desirable:
- Trainer Qualifications e.g. Skilled Trainer, NLP Practitioner, L&D experience e.g. CIPD, Coaching and mentoring, E-Learning capability.
- Experience of dealing with global companies
- Degree or relevant training qualification experience preferred

Experience Required:
- CIPS qualified or Purchasing Experience - The individual will have 5+ years experience in Purchasing along with experience in Learning and Development as an experienced training developer, and trainer

Experience Preferred:
- Experience of delivering training globally

Additional Information :
- The co-ordination of the management & delivery of the training interventions suitable for all Procurement training needs.
- Managing the design of all new training, classroom, e-learning and videos to ensure that it is future proofed and capable.
- Ensuring alignment with the L&D strategy and budget.
- Design, develop and delivery of Purchasing Learning conferences, events and training interventions.
- Having a global mind-set to ensure the development of global training solutions are standard and effective, global travel is required as part of the role.
- Ensuring that cultural differences are included in all training material, co-ordinating material from the centre (HQ) whilst ensuring the applicability is appropriate for the Global regions.
- Lead daily meetings with the customer to provide update on project progress
- Lead discussions with different areas to define requirement and gather information relevant to project
- Engage the relevant suppliers and service providers and ensure that they meet the requirements set
- Own and update all project documents and issue reports to seniors based on set key performance indicators
- Build, develop and grow any relationships vital to the success of the project
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time
