This is a great position for an experienced Communications Coordinator to join an established Marketing team, in a fixed term 5 month contract (this is available due to various internal movement). You will be working in higher education, where they represent over 34,000 students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As an experienced Communications Coordinator you will be responsible for delivering Marketing activities and develop communications campaigns to engage members.
  • Working with the Communications & Marketing Manager to deliver communications activities and develop communication campaigns.

  • Developing and delivering a range of communications activity and to engage members.

  • To deliver and coordinate of social media activity for the Guild across a range of channels.

  • You will also be responsible for promoting events and services.

  • Support outreach and engagement activity, and the delivery of key events.

  • To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and activities, and make recommendations where applicable.

  • Coordinating and writing of copy and content for a range of media including print and digital.

  • Supporting media activity, with the sourcing good news stories from across the organisation and student body to raise the profile.

  • To work with the communications and marketing team to develop online and digital activity and content.

  • You will need to be educated to A Level standard, including English and Maths. We also require experience of dealing with campaigns and social media activity.
