Our client is an industry-leading cocktail brand with seven venues across London, known for their bespoke cocktails and unique food offering. After a recent expansion into Cardiff with their first ever venue outside of London, they’re now building a team to head up their beautiful new premises in the heart of Birmingham!

Position: Sales Manager
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £Competitive + Benefits

About the role:

- Responsible for driving pre-booked covers including tables, cocktail making classes and guest lists
- Spend time within the venue ensuring a thorough understanding of the business, customers, and opportunities for revenue growth and developing a network of people through which you can increase sales through pre booked business
- Demonstrate an enthusiastic and proactive approach when dealing with customers and taking bookings for the venue and be able to identify opportunities to build customer retention
- Attend local networking events
- Build a corporate database of companies and contacts
- Showcase the venue to customers by networking in venue and hosting showcase events
- Increase spend per head by pre-selling packages to groups
- Seek out local marketing opportunities to promote the venue
- Maintain a calendar of local events and seek out opportunities to tie in with these events to drive pre-booked and footfall to the venue

About you:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the opening team and make yout mark on a brand-new venue. As an enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Manager, you should be passionate about the bar and cocktail scene in Birmingham, with plenty of experience within the industry and a proven record in managing your own projects. They’re looking for someone with excellent self-motivation who loves taking on responsibility and smashing their sales targets!

As a natural networker, you thrive off proactively growing your customer base and generating business for the brand. They want you to take ownership over your sales and pre-bookings and make their Birmingham venue YOUR venue!
