Our client, a successful, quality driven training provider is seeking a professional, experienced Trainer / Training Consultant to understand employer’s needs; design and deliver training to their staff. You will need to be able to develop business using a consultative approach to SME and large employers. Following initial discussion, you will undertake an organisational needs analysis and present training solutions to client companies. Training will be given for you to understand funding and Apprenticeship Levy requirements.

You will deliver courses to a range of employed learners of all ages and experience level. Delivery will largely be through government funding and will be based around Apprenticeship Frameworks or Standards. You will be delivering at client company sites to individuals and groups as well as making use of a range of technology such as skype and webinars.

You may have come from a government funded training background or commercial training, either way you will need to be able to understand employers needs and be able to develop meaningful lasting links with employers.

This could be a full time / part time freelance role; if required elements of the role can be passed to other staff members on an organisation by organisation basis e.g., a large company may need training delivered that is out of your geographical location or you do not have time available and would like to share the workload. The role would particularly suit you if you are currently delivering training to your own client companies and would like to expand and offer apprenticeship training

Role

The role can contain all or parts of the following:

·Undertaking organisational needs analysis and training needs analysis

·Engaging with employers, particularly Apprenticeship Levy payers (excess of £3m payroll); using a consultative approach

·Working to gain knowledge and keep up to date with government funding rules

·Delivering training using a range of methods both individually and in small groups

·Delivering training face to face and using technology such as skype, webinar etc.

·Assisting with development and continuous improvement of training materials and course content

·Engaging with employers in terms of feedback, customer service, reviews etc.

·Working from home and field based

Requirements

·Business development experience preferable

·Training experience

·Management experience

·Preferably with training and / or assessment qualifications

·Driving licence
