We are now recruiting a Lean Excellence Manager to join our teambased in Armitage.

The Lean Excellence Manager is responsible for the implementation of “Ideal Way” within the supply chain in order to reach Operational Excellence. This includes supporting all Ideal Way sponsors and team leaders to identify, develop, follow up and implement process improvements connected to the Strategy of Ideal Standard.

Acting as a methodology owner, the Lean Excellence Manager needs to be able to communicate and lead discussions in all levels of the company (from a group of operators to a group of managers), where he has to be able to drive the discussions into a common understanding of the best global solutions for Ideal Standard. The Lean Excellence Manager reports to the Supply Chain Director, and is functionally connected to the Central Ideal Way Team, who will provide training and methodological support to the coordinator’s development in Ideal Way

Key responsibilities will include:

·Experienced in leading Lean Implementations across Supply Chain & Logistics Environments

·Use of Lean Logistic tools in warehousing

·Collaborative Leadership: Willingness to work on the shop floor, supplier sites, office areas and corporate leadership teams - leading by example.

·Have sufficient experience in project management and execution of the steps necessary to develop a project (planning, conducting, monitoring, reporting, risk analysis and mitigation)

·Ability to motivate & engage teams with diverse perspectives & influence decision making with or without direct authority to fulfil objectives and goals

·Knowledge in the processes of change and practices to train

·Able to present complex or new ideas with clarity and simplicity, being able to perform structured and clear PowerPoint presentations

·Being able to create specific tools with Excel complexity

·High degree of computer literacy (Microsoft Office and SAP) with excellent written and oral communication skills; proven communication skills with ability to work across all levels in an organization.

Key skills and attributes:

Ideally we are looking for candidates who possess the following experience:

·Hands-on experience with most of the following Lean tools: PDCA, Standardization (Work standards, Visual Management and Standards of Management), 5S, Value Stream Mapping both in Operational & Business Processes, Total Productive Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, Single Minute Exchange of Dies, Cell Design, SPC, FMEA, Design of Experiments, Poka Yoke, Material presentation, Plan for every part, Supplier integration.

·Experienced in leading workshops, using visual tools (Post-its, graphs etc.) to promote the integration and participation of all.

·Experience in Operational Transformation projects
