We are currently looking for a Regional Account Manager to cover the West Midlands with a specialist Buy to Let and Residential Mortgage Lender. You will be required to manage relationships with allocated packagers and key accounts, communicating the product proposition and ensuring optimum service levels are maintained. In addition to this you will also be required to develop the business relationship and managing these relationships all levels to maximise the full potential of introducer relationships to increase business levels aligned to company strategies.

Responsibilities for the role of Regional Account Manager to cover the West Midlands

  • Build the company's presence in the Packager/key accounts market place within a specific region in line with company strategies
  • Manage, develop add value to existing relationships to maximise business levels to the quality required as well as helping to win new business relationships
  • Feedback key market intelligence and recommend areas for improvement, where appropriate
  • Act as an ambassador for the business and become an expert on their proposition
  • Coaching junior professionals (where applicable) to ensure they possess the skills necessary to discharge their own duties
  • Plan and organise own workload to ensure personal and team objectives and deadlines are met
  • Think outside the box with a level of commerciality
  • Contribute towards functional strategy development, planning and implementation process to provide input from a professional viewpoint

Experience for the role of Regional Account Manager to cover the West Midlands

  • Previous experience of business development in the mortgage industry (ideally through packagers/key accounts)
  • Strong awareness of Buy to Let and residential mortgage industry and regulations
  • Excellent communication & relationship management skills
  • Confident and professional at pitching product propositions to mortgage introducers irrespective of seniority within the business
  • Strong personality but able to show diplomacy and empathy where necessary
  • CeMAP or MCD qualified highly desirable but not essential

Salary: Up to £50,000 plus an additional car allowance and an uncapped Commission paid on a quarterly basis, benefits and discretionary annual bonus
