Job Title: Corporate Account Handler

Location: Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS13

Salary: up to £35k dependant on experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Reports To: Brokering Manager

Main Purpose of Role:

  • Provide full broking support to Account Executives/Directors and advice and placement of Corporate Clients Insurance risks.
  • Liaise with Underwriter/Insurers to obtain terms on Renewals and New Business.
  • Provide advice and support to client
  • Ensure all files are compliant

Skills & Knowledge

  • Minimum 5 years Corporate Brokering Experience
  • Cert CII or progressing towards completion
  • Technically Knowledgeable and experience in marketing/placement of the following:
  • Motor Fleets
  • Material Damage and Business Interruption
  • Contractors All Risk
  • Property Owners
  • Employers/Public & Products Liability
  • Professional Indemnity
  • Management Liability
  • Engineering Policy
  • Cyber
  • Crime
  • Ability to negotiate best terms and price with market
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Products (outlook/Word/Excel)
  • Provide accurate and timely information Clients/Account Executives
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines


  • Undertake regular Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and maintain own records/provide record to firm when requested
  • Meet all Key Performance Indicators

Key Performance Indicators

  • Produce
  • Pre-Renewal Questionnaires
  • Renewal Reports
  • Invoicing including MTA's
  • Provide technical recommendations
  • Product Research - adequate for client needs
  • Cancellations & Lapses
  • File Management (Electronic)
