Finanace Director required for one of the fastest growing and well funded housing and healthcare groups.

The role

  • Working closely with the Managing Director and the Board
  • Manage phenomenal growth over the next 12 months
  • Responsible for Group finances for a £30m Housing, Heathcare and Investment portfolio
  • Advising senior finance and non finance manager on complex financial and corporate issues
  • Advising and educating on all business and financial objectives to include service delivery budgets and individual company budgets and the delivery of savings plans and balanced income and expenditure positions.
  • The individual will support the annual budget setting process for directorates( individual care businesses)
  • Undertake monitoring of business unit performances against budget and profitability using service line reporting.
  • Provide comprehensive financial support to develop, implement and monitor business plans, develop appropriate financial management information systems that allow the CEO to fully understand all aspects of financial performance.
  • Apply appropriate costing methodologies in accordance with best practice to the provision of operational management information, business cases, national reference costs and other statutory information requirements.
  • Provide information for the groups statutory reporting requirements includeing entries for income, expenditure and balance sheet for annual accounts.
  • Financial briefing and formal presentations to senior managers.
  • Audit recommendations are implemented.
