Working in a varied role, the Service Technician will be responsible for ensuring that the client's needs are met by providing Service Support, Specialising in Legionella Risk Assessment and Water Compliance, related to preventative maintenance in accordance with legislative guidelines. You will have the ability to assess, diagnose and determine the most appropriate resolution and support any interruptions/issues which may evolve within those assets managed. The successful candidate will be tasked with carrying out monitoring and associated tasks in line with HSG 274/ACoP L8 as directed by our Scheduler/Line Manager, while ensuring KPIs & SLAs are adhered to with customer expectations being met. You will maintain and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and standards whether Severn Trent, client, regulatory, statutory or legal, alongside building and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and a trusting relationship with clients and potential clients.

About You
Coming from a Water/Water Hygiene background, the successful candidate will ideally have worked in a similar role as a Service Technician or Water Hygiene Engineer. You should have a working Knowledge of related water system remediation/maintenance works alongside knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSG 274/ACoP L8, Water Regulations). City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training in Risk Assessment is desirable along with a full clean UK driving licence. Relevant documentation including a Blue card & CSCS card are all necessary for this role along with Water Treatment experience and a City &Guilds Plumbing Qualification.
