Based in Worcester, Onestore is a fast-growing internet retailer with a number of well-established market leading websites.

To help achieve this you will work closely with suppliers to create promotional activity, develop new products and aspire to be the market leader in every category we launch.

The roles and responsibilities of the Buyer will include:

·Building strong relationships with our current suppliers

·Sourcing new suppliers and building strong relationships with them

·Conducting Market research – customer, competitor and trend based

·Carrying out regular range reviews across all categories

·NPD/NPI

·Pricing negotiations

·Working cross-functionally with the e-commerce and Marketing teams to ensure products are merchandised and priced correctly on all sites

·Ensuring stock availability is maximised for your category, meeting customer's needs.

·Building knowledge of, anticipating and adapting to market trends

Skills, Experience & Attributes:

The successful candidate will be commercially astute, knowledgeable and practical. You will have a proven track record of success in a similar role and an open approach to learning new skills.

You will demonstrate a proactive ‘can do’ attitude and be committed to achieving our ambition to be the best. A highly motivated self-starter, with strong attention to detail and great planning & organisation skills, you will be an excellent communicator and a real team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with ease and efficiency.

The following experience and qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experienced in delivering to margin expectations and enhancing margin opportunities
  • Experience in managing a Far Eastern supply chain
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite – specifically Excel & PowerPoint
