My client is a leading manufacturing company supplying the Automotive OEM's with metal pressings and stampings. They are actively seeking a Sales / Business Development Manager to join their company.

Overall purpose of job: -
The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing profitable sales through development of innovative solutions to new and existing OEM Customers within the Automotive Market.

Principal Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: -

·New business and sales growth

·Sales visits and presentations to Key accounts and new accounts.

·Negotiate major contracts and T & C’s.

·Report on a regular basis enquiry activity and market conditions.

·Support the NPI system and Project Engineers with Customer requirements and changes.

·Active participation in strategic initiatives.

·Effective communication at all levels.

Key Objectives:

Achieve tooling and forming sales targets as detailed within the annual appraisal to achieve Divisional ROS. Increase Customer Base & Market diversification.Increase Sales from existing Customers through Key account management.Customer focus and good Customer relationships.Marketing materials to meet Sales strategy.Promoting the Company brand.

Ideal Knowledge: -

Automotive body in white. Pressing & sheet metal processes.OEM commercial pricing & negotiating.Engineering feasibility.

Specific Skills: -

Good communicator, Literacy & Numeracy.

Qualifications: -

Supporting Engineering Qualification.

Experience: -

Desirable People management.Essential Sales & marketing experience, general background in engineering principles & materials.Personal Qualities: -

Good communicator, Integrity, Accountability, Customer Focus, Team Player.Personal Circumstances: -

Must be willing to work flexible hours. ·Travel across the UK, Europe and beyond.

·Full Driving License and Passport is essential.
