We have several flexible vacancies for experienced Care Assistants to work in the Lichfield area through our friendly Cannock branch.

The Position:

We are especially interested to hear from carers who are able to offer an on-going commitment to work regular daytime shifts, however we are also able to offer some night and weekend shifts also. You'll have all the flexibility to pick shifts suited to your availability but with the added security of a permanent contract and guaranteed hours.

You will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in your care. Daily tasks may include assisting with washing and dressing, meal times, personal care and enabling service users to participate in their favourite activities.

We offer care to clients in a variety of environments including hospitals, care homes, nursing homes and supported living, so it’s essential you have experience in at least one of these settings. Experience of caring for those with dementia is highly desirable.

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • A certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course
