DG Pack, a member of Danaflex Group (flexible packaging producer) is searching for active sales managers in flexible packaging.

Created in 2001, Danaflex Group is one of the largest suppliers of flexible packaging with leadership positions in Russia. With headquarter in Kazan (Russia) and now 3 world-class manufacturing facilities, Danaflex Group is a supplier of flexible packaging and high performance packaging films to a large number of food, non-food & industrial customers, serving local market leaders, multinational corporations and brand owners including Nestlé, Lays, Pepsi-Co, Mondelez, Unilever and Jacob’s Douwe Egberts.

Now we are in the process of creating of our fourth plant, it would be situated it Prostejov, Czech Republic, the company name is DJ Pack. In few months the plant construction will be started.

Active sales manager

Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for achieving sales, sales growth and profitability targets in the territory. The territory could be CEE, DACH, France, Benilux, Nothern Europe, Great Britain&Scotland, South Europe. Responsible for managing all accounts in the territory. Identifies and acquired new accounts with significant growth and profit potential. The role maintains frequent face-to-face communication and establishes win-win relationships with new and existing accounts. We expect, that within 6 months sales manager will bring first orders to our site. At first sales manager will sell from our Russian sites, later after Czech site build-up, from Czech Republic.

Job duties:

Analytical activities:

  • Analyze the market for potential customers of flexible packaging by identifying account needs and key buying factors
  • Assess account opportunities, account trends and define aspirations
  • Identify key decision makers and influencers beyond purchasing and develop close relationships with those decision makers
  • Evaluate price categories at which customers purchase similar products
  • Analyze customers `current annual volume of each type of flexible packaging and analyze competitors
Establishment of strong relationships with accounts

  • Establish strong, multi-level, win/win relationships with the existing and new accounts and arbitrate between plants and customers when there are disagreements or issues with regard to issues such as quality
  • Develop and maintain an account plan for each core account
Participation in technical process

  • Understand and develop customer requirements
  • Identify and align resources, action plans and communications required to execute account plans and resolve issues.
  • Provide sample of products necessary for potential customers
  • Participate in testing pilot batches of goods in the production of potential customers
  • Approval production technology with the potential customers and introduce them to production capabilities
Supervision of budgeting

  • Manage budgeting of sales activities and report about competition of these targets

Qualifications and experience

A least, 3 to 5 years sales experience in sales activities in flexible packaging

Higher Education

Leadership competencies: strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills and background, sales/customer knowledge, resilience, fluent minimum 2 of native languages of the countries of the following regions: CEE, DACH, France, Benilux, Nothern Europe, Great Britain&Scotland, South Europe and obligatory fluent English.
