A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Insurance Project Manager to join a leading specialty Insurer on contract basis.

Please ONLY apply if you have previous Insurance experience.

Key responsibilities:

- Ensure the business team(s) are involved appropriately in the definition, acceptance testing and use of the new system and/or process.
- Ensure that the project is managed according to any agreed standards and achieves defined success criteria wherever possible.
- Ensure that all staff within the project have clear roles and responsibilities, communicated using the appropriate tools, and provide feedback on their performance as part of the appraisal process.
- Coordinate with PMO to ensure project status is appropriate and processes are being followed, so as to deliver projects in the most effective and efficient manner.
- Work with other Project Managers and Business Analysts to explore synergies and dependencies between projects, in order to identify and avoid issues, and to maximise reuse and coordination of effort to achieve a greater business benefit.

Required skills:

- Solid project management experience within insurance.
- Strong knowledge of the Insurance workflow.
- A proven track record of delivering IT projects, covering the use of internal resources, third party (packaged) solutions and outsourced services.
- A proven track record of delivering system integration projects.
