A blue chip private sector organisation who provides a wide range of services to public and private sector is seeking a Lead Administratorto join their expanding busy team on a full time permanent basis in Birmingham. You will be joining a truly global group, who as a combined business, employ c70, 000 people and turnover in excess of £5 Billion.

The Role:

To provide leadership, management and support to Administrators across 2 sites.

To work closely with key operational colleagues ensuring that high standards are consistently met across the team.

Contribute to, and support the administration and co-ordination of training programmes. To manage the gathering and collating of departmental management information, along with extensive scheduling and other administration tasks.

Skills

The post holder will:

- Lead a team of Administrators on a daily basis, providing general day to day support - must have recent and demonstrated knowledge of leading a team

Leadership

- Be a key contact providing support, advice and assistance to the wider Team.
- Provide leadership to a team of Administrators across 2 sites.
- To effectively delegate appropriate tasks to Administrators.

Performance Management

Delivery of business objectives:

- Attainment of current operational objectives within timescale.
- Conduct appraisals with Administrators, ensuring that individuals have the opportunity to progress, that success is celebrated and those areas for development are identified and managed in accordance with policies and procedures.

Team Working

- Provide a consistent and professional administrative service to all PIP staff through L&D interventions.
- Ability to co-operate and work respectfully with colleagues to support a positive working culture.
- Be responsive to change.
- Actively drive a team work ethic to maintain overall Service Level Agreements as defined .
- Share experience, knowledge and ideas to assist development of team members.
- Find ways to celebrate and communicate team and individual success.

Communication

- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with groups/individuals taking account of differing learning styles and individual needs.
- Ability to listen, express and articulate information effectively to a wide range of experienced health professionals.
- Successfully manage challenging behaviours within the Administration team.
- Participate in team meetings and articulate development opportunities.
- Demonstrate an excellent level of interpersonal skills and work collaboratively with all key stakeholders.
