Data Administrator

£18,000 pro rata
Burton-on-Trent
6 month Fixed-term contract.

Our client, a FTSE 250 listed company within the Finance and Banking sector, is looking for an experienced and confident Administrator with a keen eye for detail! The role primarily consists of accurate data entry and management, along with providing excellent customer service, both verbally and written. You must have competent IT skills and a high level of accuracy whilst working.


An ideal candidate would have experience of working accurately with data, good IT skills and confidence with MS Office ideally.


Main Responsibilities include:
•Performing searches to support proposal applications, eg. Credit reference services
•Processing new sales proposals, making sure that they are captured on the CRM system in a timely and precise manner
•Driving data quality improvements through accurate capture and cleansing, identifying any problems with the database and finding appropriate solutions in discussion with your line manager
•Working closely with Sales and Marketing to provide regular updates and reports when needed
•Updating, correcting and maintaining company records, including contact information on CRM
•Chasing for outstanding information via the sales team to ensure the proposal is complete
•Ensuring appropriate security measures are taken to prevent unauthorised access to data, in accordance with the Data Protection Act
•Performing activities to identify areas for data improvement and taking actions when required
•Ensuring all supporting documentation is scanned and attached to proposals within agreed timescales

Essential requirements:
•Competent IT and data entry skills
•Effective organisation skills
•Previous Office based experience
•Excellent communication skills; both written and spoken
•Proficient in relevant computer applications, MS Office ideally
•Experience of providing excellent customer service

This is a 6-month fixed term contract, working Monday-Friday 9.00-5:15
