My client secondary school are currently searching for two STEM graduates who can commit to working as a Teaching Assistants for the 2017/18 academic year. This post is suited to a Graduate of science, technology, engineering or maths, who is interested in training to become a secondary science or maths Teacher. To be considered you will need to be an enthusiastic and talented graduate who has achieved a 2:1 or above in their degree and ideally have some experience working with children although this is not essential.
In this Teaching Assistant post you will be working within the science & maths department. You will have the advantage of working alongside some outstanding teachers who will be there to support and guide you in your role. You will be supporting pupils on a small group and 1:1 basis, helping those who need it most to achieve the targets set. Good communications skills, patience and a passion for science are key elements to the success of this role.
