Internal Sales/Internal Sales Engineer
The main purpose of the Internal Sales/Internal Sales Engineer position is to effectively and efficiently service the existing client base and to develop and obtain new business.
Main responsibilities for the Internal Sales/Internal Sales Engineer
To provide technical support and assistance to customers wherever and whenever required.To develop and expand business opportunities by constant liaison with customers and to service the customer base with all their requirements whilst maintaining a good working relationship. To liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure that orders are executed to specification and delivered on time.
The servicing of major accounts.
The preparation of cost estimates and quotations and their follow-up.
The identification of new business potential.Achieve customer’s delivery on time by working closely with the Production and Planning team.
Carry out contract review and enter orders on system in line with agreed business plan targets.
Plan the customer workload to fit in with the company wide plan.Produce the monthly stats for board presentation and presentation to the customer.
Respond to enquiries in line with the business plan target.
Assist on enquiry follow-up in line with business plan.
Ensure that the team’s response to answering telephone calls is in line with good Business practice.
Assist the rest of the sales team with enquiries and enquiry follow-up and order entry.Support the commercial manager on specific projects and on tasks issued by the commercial manager.
