Currently we are looking to fill the position of:

Business Intelligence Analyst

Based in Midlands: Coventry, CV3 4LF

Main purpose of the role:

You would be responsible for the maintenance and creation of reports that benefit the operation and keep both them and the client informed of key business metrics on a regular basis. The role is both operational and client facing. Initially you will build an understanding of the key metrics associated with customer satisfaction, CRC (Customer Relationship Centre) spend, and CRC operating metrics, which will later be expanded to cover Retailer technical support (RTS) and marketing as the team grows

Candidate Responsibilities

- Be a high calibre creative analyst with experience in creating operational reports and looking for opportunities to improve upon existing reports

- Govern and maintain your own reporting suite to a high professional standard using established reports and creating or assisting in the creation of new reports if the need arises.
- Analyse metric changes where appropriate and consult with relevant parties regarding your findings.
- Perform ad hoc requests for data or analysis from Operations or the Client.

- Identify all data requirements, recommend new data collection processes and work with the business analysts and the Workforce Planning Analysts to support data collection, integration and retention.

- On an on-going basis pro-actively schedule meetings with the department's leadership team to share information on progress, result and findings with them and to identify their business requirements.
- Focus at all times to achieve centrally set objectives

- Work closely with your Operations Manager colleagues and communicate openly with them at all times to ensure they meet departmental KPIs and Objectives

Candidate Specification

- You will possess experience in manipulating large data sets, interpreting data and presenting results, and holding a related degree would be advantageous (e.g. Maths, Statistics, or Science)

- Proven corporate experience in data analysis and reporting.
- The ability and proven record of coming up with solutions to loosely defined business problems by leveraging pattern detection over potentially large datasets.
- Ability to interact with senior management and to quickly react to requirements and demonstrate results in an easy to understand way.
- Business acumen and strong customer focus.
- Pro-active team player attitude with initiative, determination and strong result orientation.
- Professional appearance.
- Willingness to adapt with change is essential.

- Can do attitude when facing tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage concurrent projects of various lengths, prioritise, and be able to demonstrate proficient time management skills
- Ability to propose innovative and creative solutions

- Expert Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills, Tableau, which will be tested during the recruitment process
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience having worked with senior management in a client environment is a plus
- Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details.
- Can demonstrate a high degree of being able to work on own initiative and motivation
