Advance Housing and Support are recruiting for Support Workers across Worcestershire!
Locations: Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Malvern, Worcester, Evesham
Pay rate: £7.50 per hour
Contracts available: 16 hours per week, 30 hours per week & casual contracts
Shifts: Various hours available across evenings, daytimes and weekends. Sleep-in shifts also required in some locations.
We are currently recruiting for permanent and casual staff to join us across Worcestershire. Due to the locations and flexibility required across our services we do require drivers with access to their own vehicles.

About the role of Support Worker
You will be providing support to our customers to meet their particular needs as identified within their support plan, enabling them to make informed choices while promoting their privacy and dignity.
Duties may include:
Helping people to shop for things they wish to buy including their clothes and food, and to prepare their meals as required.
Helping customers to do their housework, including cleaning and laundry
Supporting customers to find opportunities in education, employment and leisure and enable them to take part in these opportunities.
Help our customers manage their own money.
Supporting customers with their day to day travel arrangements and holidays as required
Keeping some written records, using IT systems
What qualities do I need to have?
To work with other staff in a manner that promotes team building, within the scope of Advances policy and procedures.
To maintain good communication with colleagues and customers.
You will encourage the independence and motivation of the customer and not foster dependant behaviour.
Experience or knowledge of the Autistic spectrum would be advantageous
