CRM Developer/Warwick/Contract/4 months/JavaScript/HTML/CSS/SASS/SQL

Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a CRM Service Developer to work with our client in Warwick. This is a 4 month contract position requiring an immediate start. The client is a public sector client who falls inside IR35. The main will be to analyse existing processes within services, and develop appropriate solutions for delivery through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and back office systems. To support the delivery of services using the CRM across all access channels.

The successful candidate will be required too:

To develop processes in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and associated technologies using knowledge of JavaScript, XML, CSS, SQL, SQL Server and .Net to support the development of the clients Firmstep CRM to deliver services across all channels.
To collect, collate and analyse all data relating to the potential migration of processes in accordance with the predetermined framework.
To develop test plans and evaluation criteria for new services to incorporate the customer and user perspective and to ensure the processes work to specification.
To assess existing service delivery making recommendations for improvement.
To work with partner representatives to explore and deliver cross-agency solutions.
To manage apprentices and internships within the team.
To participate in the assessment and implementation of new technology solutions.
To participate in project teams formed to deliver new services.
To work with the Development team to deliver technology improvements and system upgrades.
To uphold the Directorate Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety policies.
To identify opportunities for self-development and undertake appropriate activities to improve both skills and knowledge.
To undertake any other duties as required, which are commensurate with grading of the post.

Essential skills:

*Either hold a full relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICT Discipline Degree) or have significant experience in an ICT environment at an appropriate level
*Experience of development which may include a knowledge of JavaScript, XML, SQL, CSS, SQL Server, HTML and .Net
*Good written and verbal communication skills.
*Excellent IT skills with experience of using a process-mapping tool i.e. Visio and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite of products.
*Flexible and creative approach to problem solving.
*Ability to continuously learn new processes and develop appropriate skills.
*Experience of business and data analysis and production of subsequent solutions.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
*Ability to use initiative in a busy and changing environment.
*Hard working and a positive attitude to change.
*A systematic, methodical and accurate approach to work.
*Able to work flexibly to meet the needs/hours of the services.
*Able to travel throughout the County if required.

Desirable

*Previous experience of developing in a CRM
*Experience of using Other development skills e.g. PHP JSON, JQuery, SOAP, REST.
*Experience of writing and implementing development specifications and test plans.
*Experience of working in local government or other large and/or complex organisations
*Experience of working with Prince 2 or other project management methodology.
