Previous experience of domiciliary care coordinating is essential - those with NVQ/Diploma Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) are particularly desirable.

You will be working with an established team, which coordinates care workers undertaking approximately 2500 hours of care per week.

This role will involve managing rotas, liaising with social services and the next-of-kin of service users, rostering and allocating hours to care workers, using IT systems (for which full training will be provided), and participating in the paid on-call rota .

Candidates with good organisational skills who are honest and outgoing are highly desired. Familiarisation with Carefree and/or CM2000 would be a plus.

Role:
*To work with the best interest of the company and to successfully co-ordinate homecare packages
*Responsible for contributing to branch target and for ensuring the development of the business through existing and new clients and service users
*To maintain high quality standards, systems and procedures set by the company and in line with CQC Compliances and Health & Social Care Act 2008 and contract compliance as applicable.

Responsibilities:
*In conjunction with the Home Care team ensure that the branch is compliant
*To operate and comply within Health & Social Care Act 2008 and to adhere to CQC regulations
*To adhere to branch systems and procedures in accordance with company policy, auditing requirements
*To attend regular updates; daily, weekly and monthly, branch focus meetings and business reviews
*To operate and perform within branch / company KPIs
*To co-ordinate issues and problems that may arise with clients and candidates and investigate / resolve where required seeing through to an appropriate conclusion, using iTHC complaints and incidents policies
*To support effectively with candidate attraction strategies, ensuring consistent flow of good quality candidates
*To interview and place candidates ensuring that their have met auditing clearance standards as appropriate
*To ensure all communication logs, MAR Sheets and charts are returned to branch on a monthly basis and audited in-line with requirements
*Complete supervisions, work place assessments and appraisals for care workers meeting KPI's
*Complete Risk Assessments as per CQC / contract specifications
*To deliver Home Care Inductions to all new starters as required
*To carry out on-call duties on a rota basis with team
*To assist with business development with existing clients
*To manage your individual desk and workload
*To be knowledgeable and familiar with current and new legislative changes within recruitment and domiciliary care ensuring iTHC compliance at all times
To meet and maintain targets in relation to hours v income, quality assurances, KPI's, CQC compliances and action plans

Profile:
*Previous domiciliary coordinating experience within a busy company
*Ability to take part in the paid oncall rota
*Fluent English (both written and spoken)
*Exceptional telephone manner
*Intermediate level or above Microsoft Office skills
*Great communication and interpersonal skills
