Sales Ledger Clerk

We are recruiting for Sales Ledger Clerk in the Walsall area.

As a Sales Ledger Clerk you will need to have:

* Previous sales ledger experience
* Ideally have experience in using CCH and Sage
* Good working knowledge of MS excel and word
* Minimum of 5 years of credit control experience
* Professional telephone manner
* 5 GCSE's including Maths and English


* Salary: GBP18,000 per annum
* Working Hours : 09:00-17:00 Mon-Fri
* Location: Walsall
* Duration: Permanent

Role of a Sales Ledger Clerk:

* Working with the Credit control team
* Allocating cash
* Balancing with the CCH and Sage system every month
* Providing creditors with VAT receipts
* Checking VAT has been included on invoices
* Sorting out and filing any rebates
* Running off turnover statements
* Banking and reconciliation
* Producing invoices
* Setting up new clients
