SF Group are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive for our client based in Redditch.

The purpose of the role is:

  • To achieve sales targets set within a given territory selling to existing customers and developing new business accounts through direct telephone selling
  • To sell the full range of the company's products available to the territory; promote the company's products to existing customers, expanding products currently in use, and opening new accounts
  • To retain network and grow existing business, as well as take an active role in generating new

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • To achieve all sales targets allocated at the beginning of the financial year
  • Improve and grow sales within the Sales Territory
  • Meet the required daily activity whilst ensuring that calls are of good quality and professionally conducted
  • Comply with telephone blitz times although paperwork and general support activities must be maintained
  • Achieve 60 outbound calls per day and 120 minutes of call duration
  • Open a minimum of 36 new accounts annually (3 per month)
  • Ensure a minimum of 60 new business contacts are completed weekly
  • Ensure all customers within the territory are contacted as a minimum every 3 months
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, with relevant internal liaison to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Research and revise product and business knowledge to maintain a level of understanding of features, benefits and services. Undertake further personal development to enhance sales skills and knowledge
  • Create monthly business plans to demonstrate how you will achieve all targets set
  • Effective time management skills to plan work and optimise selling time
  • Understand the existing customer base, their business needs and requirements, set objectives to develop existing customers
  • Complete all activities and reports in the designated manner as requested by the Telesales Manager
  • Have a clear understanding of the company systems; ensure all contact and company details are captured, recorded and regularly updated to maintain good data and enable communication with the customer of the highest possible level
  • Give customers the best possible service at all times
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Adhere to good working relations with colleagues
  • Display knowledge of the company's pricing schemes
  • Ensure that all quote and order documentation is accurate
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities, provide relevant reports and information
  • Ensure all communication both internal and external are conducted professionally and follow the correct quality standards at all times
  • Participate in team activities, training sessions and company meetings, some of which may be held off site

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Preferably 2 years previous telesales or account management experience in a business to business sales environment, including cold calling, opening accounts and cross-selling
  • Self-driven, self-motivated, results oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit
  • A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance
  • Mature, credible and comfortable in dealing with senior company executives
  • Reliable, tolerant and determined
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic individual with flair for sales and the ability to communicate well with customers.
  • Able to demonstrate determination to succeed, target driven, willing to go the extra mile
  • Good level of numeric skills
  • Used to working to KPIs
  • Be prepared for hard work, change and new ideas

The position will pay an annual salary of GBP20,000 - GBP22,000. If you are interested in the role please apply ASAP.
