Our client is an innovative, research-driven global pharmaceutical organisation committed to working in partnership with healthcare professionals to improve patients' lives.

On account of sustained business success within this niche sector, they are currently looking to bolster their Neonatal team with an additional head. The main purpose of this position is to promote their specialist Neonatology product portfolio into the Secondary care environment, hitting prearranged targets within the specified territory.

The Hospital Specialist - Neonatal role will involve:

- substantial planning and preparation to achieve sales targets
- implementation of territory plan (utilizing the tracking mechanisms)
- developing detailed account plans to increase product awareness, influence adoption and formulary inclusions

The successful candidate for the Hospital Specialist - Neonatal role will be able to identify key issues involved in driving usage of promoted products at local level and provide/facilitate appropriate solutions for meeting these needs.

This role also requires the individual to have exceptional product knowledge across all key therapy areas to conduct prescribing reviews and manage clinical queries with minimal disruption. All planning and administration should be completed efficiently and accurately within designated time scales with the intention of subsequently increasing the individual's productivity on patch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of their individual financial budget to achieve prearranged sales targets.

The successful candidate for the Hospital Specialist - Neonatal role will have:

- ABPI qualification
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales
- A proven track record in hospital sales (in the Specialist Care arena)
- A strong background of formulary submissions and inclusions
- Extremely well developed interpersonal and communication skills at a range of levels and for varying audiences
- The ability to learn and relay highly technical information to influence individuals across the NHS - including prescribers, influencers and budget holders
- Excellent presentation, organisation, and communication skills
- A passion for working within this therapy area
