Senior PHP Developer - to £45,000

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a multi-award winning international technology company that has over 160,000 clients reaching out to over 50 million people each month using its software. The role of Senior PHP Developer, based at the company’s offices in Worcestershire, is integral to the company’s continued success in an incredibly high growth industry.

Key responsibilities include:

Innovate, plan and develop the company’s software platform to introduce new features

Provide support to colleagues and customers in using the platform.

Interpret requirements and where appropriate technical specifications

Perform coding using best practice

Investigate, analyse and fix and report defects.

Continually improve code

Communicate with other departments when required

The Candidate:

You will have at least 3 years commercial LAMP/PHP/MySQL experience, be used to OOP, and a proven track record in both working as a team and delivering high quality programming in a timely fashion. This should be backed up with a portfolio of projects worked on. You should also present a confident and friendly manner on the telephone with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Furthermore you should be confident in handling & manipulating data for import into our client’s system. Finally you must be able to problem solve, in both being able to look at existing software to develop improvements to the systems and be able to take customer requirements to provide solutions.

The basic salary for this role is negotiable, up to £45,000 depending on experience.
