Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (You will be required to go to some events but will get this time back in lieu)

£22,000 per annum

You will be working for a very well-established company working in the heart of Birmingham. My client one of the best tourist attractions in the city and first opened in 1885. It is housed in a Grade II* listed city centre landmark building. The role offers some great benefits including 34 days holiday a year, free child care vouchers and the chance to work flexi hours.

My client is looking for an individual who is extremely self-motivated and target driven. You will need to ideally have experience of working within sales and Conference & Banqueting

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Birmingham Museums extensive venue hire portfolio
  • Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients
  • Generating sales leads
  • Achieving sales targets
  • Supporting delivery of Marketing campaigns and promotional activity
  • Ensuring delivery of excellence in customer service
  • Deal with customer/potential customer enquiries
  • Keeping accurate records
  • Banking, Invoicing and cash handling
  • Budgeting and costing of events for clients
  • General office administration to support business growth and accurate record keeping
  • Covering in absence to support the wider Conference and Banqueting function
  • Coordination of staff to deliver events
  • Negotiation and relationship development with external suppliers
