Senior PMO Scheduling Officer

A large public sector organisation based in the West Midlands is looking to recruit a Senior PMO Scheduling Officer who will lead a team to deliver a complete scheduling service across a variety of projects and programmes.

Your new role
As Senior PMO Scheduling Officer you will oversee a small team to ensure schedule management is fully embedded across the business and best practice is maintained. Providing a comprehensive service across a diverse range of projects and programmes you will coach and support your team of Scheduling Officers to use relevant scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to create maintain and challenge project schedules. Alongside this, you will be responsible for reporting back on progress ensuring cost and schedule performance is communicated clearly and understood.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced PMO Scheduling Officer who can demonstrate examples of clear communication skills, strong collaboration and the ability to coach and train Project and Programme Managers as well as their own team. You will have previously carried out a Scheduling/Planning position within a PMO environment and will have experience of using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. You will ideally be an MSP Practitioner.
