The role is administrative support, helping to maintain efficiencies at a very high level to underpin the effectiveness of this key operational department which acts as a central support resource for the rest of the company. This is a very varied role and entertaining role. You will be expected to process member applications, answer member or applicant queries, give advice, assist with keeping client records accurate and up to date, preparing and sending external mailings, audit data, helping with Health & Safety and ISO administration. You will also be expected to learn and develop an understanding of all the departmental roles, look for process improvements and assist those around you so that you can confidently substitute when required.

The Person:

You will be confident and able to work naturally as part of a close knit team. You will have very solid administration skills, excellent attention to detail, a sound understanding of MS Office particularly Excel, Word and e-mail be friendly and have a willing ‘can do’ and get the job done attitude. You will be flexible, have an excellent telephone manner (client contact) and be quick to assimilate new information, you will also want to learn and develop. A good level of education is essential, graduates preferred but with at least good A level results or equivalent and some demonstrable experience in administration or a customer service environment. The main things are that you have very good communication skills, a positive attitude a good sense of humour and an excellent work ethic.

The salary is £16,500 to £17,000 per annum with a bonus that can add up to 10% to the basic salary and there are excellent benefits.
