Kingspan Insulation has an exciting opportunity for a CAD/Revit/BIM Objects Designer to join their team based in Pembridge, Herefordshire. You will be on a full time permanent basis working 39 hours per week and be paid a salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum depending on experience.

We are now looking to recruit a CAD/Revit/BIM Objects Designer who will provide a service for bespoke object creation to customers, housebuilders and architects, gaining specifications and continuing to develop our name as a market leader in insulation solutions.

Responsibilities of our CAD/Revit/BIM Objects Designer

You will work as part of the Technical Projects Team in Pembridge providing design assistance and technical support to frontline technical staff, the sales team, marketing department and customers.

Reporting to the Technical Projects Manager, you will develop BIM Objects for Kingspan Insulation products, creating bespoke BIM Objects as part of our service offering. You will ensure existing objects are up to date with correct data liaising with members of relevant teams.

Skills needed to become our CAD/Revit/BIM Objects Designer

For this role, it would be beneficial if you have a degree in a relevant subject (for example, construction, architecture, building design) or are able to demonstrate relevant experience in the construction industry. A recognised AutoCAD and/or Revit qualification would be advantageous. Experience of using 2D CAD is essential, 3D CAD and BIM experience is desirable.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and strong organisational skills, be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. This role will require attention to detail and the ability to work in a demanding environment on your own or as part of a team.
