CAS Behavioural Health is one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist behavioural adult healthcare services.
The hospital building is an oval shape and is very distinctive which is a purpose-built 32-bed hospital specialising in psychiatric rehabilitation for men. We provide state of the art facilities for patients to assist them with their return to independent living. Many are from Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas and this new facility offers the perfect environment for their community-based rehabilitation.

Job Role:
As a Support worker it is one’s duty to build professional relationships with clients and other staff throughout the company and on the site you are based.
Support workers will undergo to do everything possible to maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment to live and work in, this will including domestic duties.
We expect you as a support worker to follow all policies and procedures and follow individual’s specific needs to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered.
One of your main duties will be to assist with clients medical and welfare needs and to report as required, which may include the administration of emergency ‘when required’ medication or a safe guarding occurrence.
It is essential that our support workers have the confidence to maintain our client’s personal hygiene, general hygiene and appearance corresponding with their individual care plans.

About you:
As a support worker having an awareness of general health, safety and welfare of the clients is necessary. To support equal opportunities as well as being alert to discrimination and how to prevent.
We need Support workers that have the ability to follow a work pattern, attend work punctually and work effectively as a team.
Support workers are required to undergo training and develop to enable them for being able to complete their jobs on a day to day basis safety and constructively.

Specific Requirement
Please note – this role is exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders act 1974 as you will be in contact with vulnerable adults. Therefore all candidates invited for interview will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and any offer of employment be subject to successful clearance.
