Motor Claims Handler

Hay Mills, Birmingham B25

Our client is a well established business currently seeking an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join their insurance team based in Hay Mills, Birmingham.

Position summary

As a Motor Claims Handler you will be liaising with third party providers, such as Repairers, Engineers, and hire car providers in order to ensure a smooth and professional claims journey for clients whilst providing excellent customer service.

Additionally, your role will include:

* Taking on and dealing with new claims

* Instructing Repairers and Engineers

* Organising Credit hire

* Monitoring repairs and hire to mitigate losses

* Accurate admin and data entry

Who are we looking for?

* Experience within the Motor Claims industry, ideally in a credit hire / recoveries role

* Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure

* Exceptional customer service skills

* Competent with IT platforms including Microsoft Excel

* Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

Due to the nature of the role and working hours, candidates will ideally live within a 20-mile radius of B25.
