Professional Services Consultant (Tax & Accounting Software)
As a result of the continued growth, we are recruiting for a permanent Software Consultant, to be based preferably in the South or Midlands.
Wolters Kluwer is a global information, software and consultancy provider with over 19,000 employees worldwide and annual revenues of €4.2b (2016). We have been providing information and advice to lawyers and accountants around the world for over 175 years and are the trusted first point of call for when you have to be right.
In the UK, Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting is a market leader in the provision of software, training and support to professional accountants and tax advisors, from sole practitioners to most of the UK’s top 100 accounting practices. As well as helping professional firms to manage their own business, our accounting and tax products enable them to provide compliance and value added services to their clients.
We would like you to be either currently working in a client facing training/consultancy role, or working as an IT Manager or Practice Manager in an Accounting Practice. Ideally you will come from an operations background in a professional services environment so you have an understanding of the industry jargon, and the functions of the software won't be entirely alien to you. However we are also willing to consider anyone wanting to move into this area, where you have a proven ability to take on and learn a new software application with ease and then express this to clients with a structured and professional approach.
About the role...
The successful applicant will work as part of a team of 20 professional services consultants based across the UK and Ireland. You will build strong, credible relationships, with both colleagues and clients, ensuring you have the gravitas to be seen as the subject matter expert.
Our trainers and consultants are usually the first contact a client will have with Wolters Kluwer post sale and, therefore, are key to the development of good long term relationships with our client base. Knowledge of one or more CCH software products would be an advantage although not essential as full training will be given.
This role will involve lots of visits to client sites (UK Only) so any applicants must be willing to travel a minimum of 3 days a week and hold a current UK driving license.
