Location: Birmingham

Travel: Regular travel across the West Midlands

Contract length: Permanent

Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm, 40 hours

Rate: Negotiable dependent upon experience

Duties will include (but not limited to):

* Handling a heavy employee relations caseload comprised of multiple complex cases

* Leading on investigations into complex disciplinary, grievance and absence management cases

* Coaching and supporting line managers involved in the process and liaising with the associated parties

* Conducting project work such as implementing restorative policy, development and strategy

* Managing and monitoring long-term absence among employees in order to implement appropriate action

* Assisting in the management of the recruitment and selection process from advertisement to offer stage

* Identifying and recommending changes to the current operating systems and procedures to ensure a high standard of service

* Supporting external reward benchmarking activities to ensure the organization offers competitive and fair reward packages to its employees

* Providing proactive advice and assistance in planning and delivering HR strategies and intervention

The successful candidate must be CIPD qualified, have experience of working in the third sector and hold a full UK Driving License.
