Assistant HR Manager
A fantastic charity has a unique opportunity for an Assistant HR Manager to join their lively team. If you are an experienced HR Administrator/Assistant who is looking to take the next step, this could be the role for you! Based close to Birmingham city centre, this is a full time permanent position, paying up to £21000.
Working alongside the dynamic Head of HR, you will have autonomy and responsibility from day one. You will be working to update, maintain and implement all HR policies across the business, with a focus on recruitment, ER and HR systems.
Main responsibilities will include:
Managing the entire recruitment process; selection, interviews and pre-employment screening.
Maintaining staff files and dealing with appraisals, training, leave and sickness.
Assisting with Disciplinary and Grievance procedures, including note taking at meetings and dealing with all administration.
Working with Heads of Department to ensure all HR policies are implemented correctly, initiating training where necessary.
Running HR projects, reporting in to the Head of HR and dealing with all administrative processes around each project.
This is a truly wonderful opportunity for an experienced HR administrator to take the next step and learn all that they can about HR management. You will have the full support of the team, but will also be left to control your own workload and run your own tasks. Due to the autonomous nature of the role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of HR experience, and be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of all relevant areas. You will be able to work under your own initiative, and be happy to roll up your sleeves and immerse yourself in this successful and driven business.
