An exciting opportunity is immediately available for an ambitious Structural Engineer to join a market leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy at their Birmingham office. In this role you will have the opportunity to become an important part of the building structures team and working on a number of current and upcoming projects to be delivered to highly respected clients across the UK. Our client provides a high quality service working on projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors amongst others, with many more new projects set to be confirmed. Our client is offering to pay a competitive salary for this role, in addition to offering a fantastic opportunity for career progression.

In order to be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will;

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Be an ambitious individual looking to progress
  • Possess at least 4 years' experience at a UK based engineering consultancy
  • Have experience of working with steel, concrete and timber structures
  • Have a very good working knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards
  • Have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Hold a full UK driving licence

In this Structural Engineer role you will;

  • Work alongside a number of talented and experienced engineers on a range of building structures projects
  • Attend site projects as required
  • Ensure the high quality delivery of all projects to relevant industry standards
  • Write reports and carry out calculations as required
  • Maintain strong client relationships
  • Progress through the company as you produce high quality work
