Our client a leading international stockist and distributor of steel products has a vacancy for a International Logistics Coordinator within its busy export department. Established in 2002 the company has quickly built a reputation for responsiveness, professionalism and the ability to deliver complex and comprehensive on time steel solutions to our clients.

The role of the International Logistics Coordinator is to ensure that export/import orders are handled in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that goods are shipped to the satisfaction of the customer in the most cost effective manner.

This opening is ideal for candidates looking to work in a fast paced environment and further their career in International Logistics.

Knowledge and experience of working in a logistics and/or supply chain environment is essential. You must have a methodical approach, excellent communication skills, an understanding of the importance of attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines. The willingness to learn, develop and apply knowledge is important to this role

You will play a major part in the sales process ensuring that orders are delivered to customers on time by managing the processing of orders, liaising with the supply chain, freight forwarders and other internal departments. You will be responsible for generating and distributing all necessary export documentation – experience in handling letters of credits would be advantageous.

Salary up to £22,000 depending on experience
25 Days Holiday entitlement plus Bank Holidays
