2017 Kitchen Host - Rollercoaster Restaurant - Stoke-on-Trent

We are the Alton Towers Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!

With the recent announcement of the UK's first Rollercoaster Restaurant which opened in May 2016, Alton Towers Resort is now offering a range of employment opportunities for those who are interested in working in a super-fast-paced environment.

The new 150 seater Rollercoaster Restaurant is set below a vast rollercoaster track where diners can watch as their order tackles two gravity defying loop-the-loops before dropping 8 metres - the equivalent of two double decker buses - down the tornado spiral to their table, and the Resort needs to recruit a team of around 20 kitchen hosts to make this an experience our diners will never forget

You'll need to be enthusiastic with exceptionally high drive both operationally and with food standards. We'll give you full training around what we're offering on our menu, but it will be up to you to ensure our guests receive food of the highest quality, so you will need to be passionate about attention to detail both with food safety and presentation. The role is ideally suited to individuals interested in food, food preparation, and potentially looking for careers within the food/chef industry.

This is a new team and it will be hugely high profile - everyone will want to eat in our new flagship restaurant, so we want the best. If you're looking for a role that's challenging, yet rewarding and think you've got the ability, communication skills, passion and drive to work in a busy and demanding environment, plus the enthusiasm to deliver exceptional food quality, you could be exactly what we're looking for.

If working in the kitchen isn't your thing, we also have exciting opportunities for front of house Host positions - apply in the same way and we'll discuss at interview stage.

Roles are part time or full time and we work five days out of seven, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Day shifts and evening shifts available. Pay rates are in line with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage. Contracts run until November 2017.

We offer flexible opportunities, in a totally unique environment.
