Peter Smith is recruiting for a Senior Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical distributor in the UK based in the West Midlands, and the client is offering a salary between £25,000 and £30,000 for the ideal candidate. This position is a permanent position.

The responsibility of the job will be to test and report on raw materials, finished products and stability samples according to registered specifications, to enable product release and meet regulatory requirements.

Further responsibilities include:
-Conducting analysis supporting stability studies
-Carrying out method development and validation
-Wide ranging raw material sampling and analytical instrument techniques
-Routine monitoring and calibration
-Completing documentation to ensure activities are recorded to meet required standards

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
-Degree or equivalent in a science related subject.
-Experience working in an analytical environment within the Pharmaceutical industry with strong Stability testing background
-Knowledge of analytical laboratory activities including HPLC, UV, and IR spectroscopy
-Method Development and validation
-GMP and GLP experience
-Excellent communication skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-Ability to interact with people both inside and outside the organisation
