Serco are seeking part-time Leisure Assistants (Wet) to assist, monitor and supervise customers in recreational activities at Market Drayton Swimming & Fitness Centre. As Leisure Assistants you will have specific responsibilities for providing clean and safe recreational facilities and activities and for ensuring that customers enjoy themselves. You will work 15.5 hours per week, on a rotating shift pattern between the hours of 06:00-22:00. Market Drayton Swimming and Fitness Centre has a range of facilities and offers a variety of activities for all ages. From fun family swim sessions and swimming lessons for children and adults to energetic aqua fit classes to in the health suite. Key Responsibilities:Provide clean, safe, warm, friendly and fun facilities and activities Provide a friendly and welcome service to all customers Maintain a full product knowledge of the services available at the Centre and advise customers accordingly Adopt a pro-active approach to continuous service improvement Skills, Experience and Qualifications:QualificationsCurrent RLSS NPLQ Pool Plant Operator Certificate (desirable) First Aid at Work (desirable) Essential SkillsExcellent product knowledge/experience Good customer care skills Good communication skills Health & Safety training/awareness The ability to deal with customers of all age groups and levels of ability Personal Attributes:Excellent customer care skills Strong communication skills Health & Safety training/awareness The ability to deal with customers of all age groups and levels of ability Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS): In line with Serco Leisure`s policy, all employees will have a DBS disclosure at an appropriate level.
