Our prestigious Automotive client based in Warwick University, West Midlands is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Lead (SharePoint) to work within our Clients ever expanding Purchasing department on a full time basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for the chosen candidate to work in a very modern and luxurious working environment. The successful Project Lead (SharePoint) will be working a 40 hour week with access to onsite parking.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop the Buyer Portal ensuring tasks nominated by the Buyers are uploaded and in a suitable format for Buyer community
  • To ensure Portal documentation is accurate and look for opportunities for continuous improvement
  • To assist with the creating of the new Purchasing intranet site
  • To liaise with relevant teams to ensure that global teams are aware of the Portal and their requirements are captured
  • To develop and maintain strong trust-based relationships with all levels of stakeholders
  • To support the Knowledge Manager to help shape strategic direction of Knowledge Management activities across Purchasing
  • Proactively ensuring updates and new tasks are added to the Buyer Portal, identifying and liaising with Buyers and SME'S to ensure maintenance of highest quality of content
  • Organising monthly meetings with new starters to promote accessibility to Buyer Portal
  • Manage room bookings, invites, delegate lists
  • Arranging updates to Portal collateral material, liaising with Reprographics, arranging distribution across CoC's
  • Representing the Knowledge Management team at Town Hall/Share Fair/Village Hall events and workshops
  • Supporting Purchasing areas to ensure knowledge is captured and maintained on the appropriate Portal to ensure pan-Purchasing alignment
  • Building relationships with CoC's and taking opportunities to attend Team briefings to promote activities of the Knowledge Management Team
  • Approving Knowledge Management items submitted to the KM Portal, liaising with OCG/Legal when necessary for data protection and confidentiality issues to maintain data integrity and quality
  • Supporting process communications across Business As Usual to Production Purchasing and Aftermarket by arranging and attending Team Briefings and Surgeries
  • Supporting international projects with new process communications
  • Assisting with on-line learning for international teams
  • Identify potential new cost-saving projects to assist Buying community
  • Support ad hoc training requests
  • Working with Knowledge Manager, supporting the Customer First initiative in PT&O
  • Key Skills Required for Submission:
