Senior Administrator/ Junior Paraplanner

Location: Birmingham

Salary up to £30,000

NJR Recruitment is currently working on a fantastic opportunity for a highly reputable Wealth Management organisation based in their prestigious offices in the heart of Birmingham city centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to move in to becoming a Paraplanner. Our client is offering a highly attractive proposition that comes with ongoing support and career development.

You will be playing an integral role in developing our client’s lifetime financial plans and fulfilling their financial ambitions by providing written advice along with technical research to the Financial Planners. In addition you will also play a key role in managing the day to day administration within the business.


  • You will be responsible for all aspects of the report writing process, previous experience is also desirable in order to be considered for this opportunity.
  • Provide high quality administration and analytical support the companies Financial Planners and clients.
  • You will be responsible for processing new business from start to finish, from arranging the initial meeting right the way through to completion.
  • You will be Responsible for putting together valuation reports and assisting with annual file reviews.
  • You will be required to assist with ad-hoc administration, such as post, filing, scanning and in engaging with clients throughout the process.
  • Ensuring all meeting and follow-up work is completed within a timly manor that fall in line with the companies standards.

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience as working as a Senior Administrator preferably with in an IFA practice. You will ideally be Level 4 Diploma qualified or working towards the CII exams.

To be successful you will have first class numeracy skills, and be fully conversant in the use of MS Excel skills. Offering the ability to demonstrate solid communication and articulation skills as well as the ability to multi task is essential.
