Our client, a new branch of a larger network agency, are looking for an experienced medical communications account manager to take over the development of this new client relationship. This position would perfectly suit someone from a medical education background who is looking to move from agency into an in-house pharma role. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for breathing new life into a range of existing products and working with the client to develop marketing strategies to rebuild brands in a creative way.

Essential attributes:

- Youhave a breadth of understanding and experience across the full pharmaceutical marketing mix
- You enjoy end-to-end marketing - from developing strategies to ensuring excellent implementation of the tactics that will drive growth
- You're able to work independently as well as part of a team
- You are aproblem solver - you are good at getting to the root of something and providing solutions
- You have an eye for detail and you like working in a fast-paced environment
- You enjoy strategic thinking, and finding new ways of approaching communication challenges
- You would enjoy a line management opportunity
- You thrive on variety, and would like the experience of working on medicines across the life cycle

Success factors:

- You have previous experience of working in a senior role in a communications agency, perhaps as a medical education senior account manager or account director
- You have a high level of understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
- You have the ability to develop of strategic plans
- You have budgeting experience
- You are able to critically assess, evaluate and improve your work
- Are self-driven, enthusiastic and have excellent networking, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Have effective project management, time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
