Training developer - Procurement - £30.09 - UK and International

As a training developer working for a leading automotive company based Gaydon you will be responsible for the co-ordination of, the management & delivery of the training interventions suitable for all Procurement training needs. The role will be responsible for organising a number of procurement training interventions, with impact across several key functions of the business

- Managing the design of all new training, classroom, e-learning and videos to ensure that it is future proofed and capable.
- Ensuring alignment with the L&D strategy and budget.
- Design, develop and delivery of Purchasing Learning conferences, events and training interventions.
- Having a global mind-set to ensure the development of global training solutions are standard and effective, global travel is required as part of the role.
- Ensuring that cultural differences are included in all training material, co-ordinating material from the centre (HQ) whilst ensuring the applicability is appropriate for the Global regions. Lead daily meetings with the customer to provide update on project progress
- Lead discussions with different areas to define requirement and gather information relevant to project
- Engage the relevant suppliers and service providers and ensure that they meet the requirements set
- Own and update all project documents and issue reports to seniors based on set key performance indicators
- Build, develop and grow any relationships vital to the success of the project
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time Key Interactions
- Global Purchasing, External Suppliers, Programme teams

Skills Required:

- Strong buying expertise with previous experience in a purchasing or commercial environment coupled with training delivery.
- Ability to design, develop and deliver Procurement Training
- Ability to train individuals in key Procurement processes with a confident, engaging training delivery style
- Strong project management, business acumen and analytical skills
- Strong leadership, influencing and relationship management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels of the organisation and with external suppliers/customers
- Experience in supplier relationship management
- Ability to travel internationally and deliver training suitable for the global business needs. .
- CIPS qualified or Purchasing Experience
- Experience in Purchasing along with experience in Learning and Development as an experienced training developer, and trainer
