The Role: Based in the Midlands, the successful Area Sales Manager will be calling predominantly on plant hire companies, with around 20% of your time spent with end users such as groundworks firms, civil contractors and utilities. You will be talking to plant and procurement managers and board level executives, operating in a largely account management position. The new area sales manager will receive full support from their internal quoting team.

The Company: This leading player enjoys a sales turnover in excess of £50 million and is now looking to recruit a new Area Sales Manager. They supply a range of capital equipment including telehandlers, dumpers, compactors, breakers and excavators and offer a great uncapped commission scheme as well as a full company induction and product training scheme.

For this Area Sales Manager role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:- Strong field sales experience
- You will probably come from a plant sales or hire background
- Outstanding sales people who have sold into the construction industry may also be considered
- Driven, credible and inquisitive sales people do well here
