Continued expansion and restructuring has brought about an exciting opportunity for a proven sales developer to contribute to this established play equipment company's ongoing success.

The Position:

Reporting to the Sales Director, the appointed Business Development Manager will be responsible for consolidating and driving market share and brand recognition across the East Midlands, principally involving:

Selling the company's range of toddler play, junior play, educational play, adventure and health & fitness equipment
Selling to commercial and public sector end users both directly and via architects, landscape architects and contractors
Identifying and closing opportunities for proactive new business growth
Maximising revues from existing clients through strong relationship building and account management

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

A minimum of two years success in a field based sales role
A track record of selling to schools, councils and local authorities
Experience in the play equipment sector or related (street furniture, paving, surfacing, canopy structures, walkways, sports equipment, school buildings etc)
Proven ability to meet and exceed, KPI, revenue and margin targets
Strong negotiation and closing skills
