Job Title: Training Support Advisor

Responsible To: Head of Accounts and Financial Services

Division Skills

Summary of main responsibilities:
To provide a link between Babington Group, employers and learners to support and monitor the development and learning opportunities of our learners in line with their learning needs and employer needs following national standards and our business objectives.

Principle accountabilities:

•Visit learners in the workplace within timescales determined by the organisation to meet the contract requirements and learner needs.

•Provide reliable and up to date information to the employer, close communication with the team to confirm progress of learners; working together to resolve any issues hampering learner development and timely achievements.

•Adapt a flexible approach to duties to ensure business and learner's needs are met; this may include some additional support for learner or administrative tasks related to Accounts Academy learners.

•Provide constructive feedback to both clients and the business.

•Undertake workplace assessments in accordance with the delivery timetable to contribute to the achievement of the qualification.

•Ensure all assessment records and documents are accurate and up to date, providing an audit trail in accordance with Babington Way procedures.

•Ensure learners are in a safe environment by undertaking general safeguarding, Health & Safety checks, identify any issues of concern and follow appropriate procedures to resolve.

•Ensure relevant contractual paperwork is completed within expected timescales in respect of Health and Safety.

•To communicate any issues or concerns about learners to the Safeguarding Officer as appropriate.

•To attend Standardisation Meetings to ensure and share good practices within the Accounts Academy Management Team.

•To develop positive relationships with employers to support learners, maximising opportunities for future business.

•Contribute to overall business achievement targets by providing support to colleagues and evidencing employer engagement to support the learner in the workplace.

•Maximise opportunities with employers to discuss other training opportunities and generate new business

•To maintain professional standards at all times in line with internal capability, confidentiality, disciplinary and safeguarding policies and procedures.

•Any other duty which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of Babington Business College and is within the remit of this post.

•Professional attire and communication.

Confidentiality

The post holder must maintain the confidentiality of information about clients, staff and other Babington Group stakeholders. Some work is of a confidential nature and information gained must not be communicated to other persons except in the recognised course of duty. The post holder must meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act at all times.

Health & Safety

Employees must comply with the provisions of the 'The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974' and must take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions whilst at work. Employees are also required to co-operate with their employer to enable them to perform or comply with any statutory provisions. This job description is intended to provide a broad outline of the main duties and responsibilities only.
