CNC Applications Engineer

The company are a market leading supplier of engineered solutions, high-quality machine tools and associated services to the engineering/manufacturing industry, specialising in the aerospace, automotive, medical and power generation sectors including the subcontract support industry.

• Our product ranges are second to none and include Chiron, Nakamura, Quaser, Hardinge, Stama and Halter Automation Systems
• With our continued success in winning high-end turnkey solutions, we are expanding the Technical Team further
• This position requires a strong knowledge of machine tools, preferably on both turning and prismatic machines
• 5 Axis machining experience would be a distinct advantage as would multi-axis turning
• Good Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain control knowledge desired although training will be given
• CAD/CAM skills
• Experience of modern cutting tool technologies
• Ability to interact at all levels from Managing Directors to machine operators
• Strong engineering problem-solving skills
• Can work to tight deadlines under pressure
• Can work on your own initiative
• Thrives on a challenge

CNC Applications Engineer

• This role is a mix of office and field based
• Applicants would be required to travel throughout the UK visiting customer's sites delivering turnkey projects and providing training
• Location in the Midlands would be an advantage
• Job Type: Full-time
• Seeking more of an offline type of engineer rather than a pure shop floor type of person, still require hands on experience as the roles would be mixed between training, programming/prove out and also office based time studies

• Salary dependant on experience
