Ambitious council seeks innovative SEND Project Manager for 8-12 months (fixed term or interim) to define their SEND Capital Plan
The Government has committed GBP215 million of capital funding to help local authorities create new school places and improve existing facilities for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, in consultation with parents and providers.
This capital can be used as local authorities see fit to improve special provision for children and young people with education, health and care (EHC) plans.

At interview candidates will be required to evidence:
- Experience of working in the School Improvement and/or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities sectors
- An ability to understand statistics: to identify themes and tell stories from data

The SEND Capital Plan will be published in March 2018.
