Project Manager ( Engineering/Automation )
To provide project management to the company's contracts from internal issue to final acceptance. Managing all aspects of the contracts so that they are completed on-time, within specification and budget. Ensuring projects meet assigned timescales and where possible improve on margins.
Provide reporting to the business on project performance and progress.
Liaising with Automation and Engineering design departments to achieve project design standards.
Maintaining customer and internal relationships, managing control of the sub-contractors working on your projects. Ensuring that all health and safety requirements are adhered to..
More than 5 years project management experience in a similar role.
High level communication and inter-personal skills with all levels of customers and colleagues.
Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office packages.
Must be willing to travel to customer sites as required.
Project management background Prince 2 desired
Experience within the automotive, robotics, automation or similar industry
Engineering background with proven wide ranging project management experience, within the automation/engineering industry. (shop floor experience)
